  • Types of flexible work

    Employees can ask to change their work arrangements, place, hours or days.

  • Requesting flexible working arrangements

    You have the right to ask your employer to change your work arrangements, place of work, hours or days. Your employer must consider your request but can turn it down if they have a valid reason.

  • Responding to a flexible working request

    If an employee requests flexible working arrangements, you must consider the request in good faith and reply in writing within 1 month. You can only decline a request for certain reasons.
